El Questro heads back to Caulfield on Saturday August 29, looking to make amends for a slightly unlucky, yet very good run last start. The 7YO was typically honest when running a tough 5th at Caulfield on August 15 and looks set to run well again. The mare wasn’t fazed by a 4 week break between runs last time but will be fitter for the outing and has come through the run very well.

“She’s had a better preparation leading into this run than she did her last” Allison states, confident of another good run.

Dwayne Dunn retains the ride and he’ll earn his riding fee, having his work cut out from barrier 15. Allison is expecting El Questro to roll forward from the gate and run a typical honest race with the aim of entering her in stakes races in coming weeks.
